Club Executives

The Toastmasters Youth Leadership Program (YLP) provides opportunities for growth, and as Toastmasters we have the program and experience to mentor youth in this worthwhile project.
In a 6 to 8 week period, a group of 10 to 15 young participants (11 to 17 years of age) will develop and improve their leadership skills and speaking skills.  Being able to communicate will build their confidence which is key to success.
Each club is encouraged to sponsor or host a YLP this year. In fact  a number of clubs in District 86 are already committed to running a YLP. As a coordinator of a Youth Leadership Program you can earn educational points toward the Advanced Communicator Gold (ACG) or a High Performance Leadership (HPL) award.

If anyone has any questions or is interested in running a YLP, please contact me.

A lot of people asking about the date for the Division M contest.

Please arrange for at least two judges to be available from your club so that we can have a balanced judging team.  Judges can only be from clubs that are not competing so we don’t know yet which clubs we will call on.  Other officials such as ballot counters and timers will also be needed.  This is a great way for members to add to their CL manual completion.
